Roles & Responsibilities
I was hired as a quality control technician at one of the Sensient sites located in Juneau, WI. My job scope included testing Baker's and Brewer's yeasts using different analytical and microbiological methods. My main responsibility was to test the chemistry aspect of the yeast to ensure that it met the required standards. Then, I would notify the supervisors and my manager regarding the test results that I got. In addition, I was also in charge of doing ATP swabs on the equipment in the plant. Other responsibilities also include:
calibrating and maintaining the equipment in the lab
